Religious Corporation
Full Definition

A non-profit corporation, which is set up to promote or run a church or other regligious organization. Formed on the state level, and usually exempt from taxation, a religious corporation is often ruled by state statutes or corporation code, which are different than for other non-profit corporations.

A corporation organized to operate a church or to be otherwise structured for primarily religious purposes is a

nonprofit RELIGIOUS corporation.
