Is your filing date important?  Most small business owners spend a decent amount of time deciding on their formation state, their Corporate or LLC name, and who is in authority, but most don’t consider their filing date.

 

Your filing date can determine when you pay state taxes or file your annual report.  It can also help determine when your entity’s tax year begins with the IRS.
