Every corporation or limited liability company registered in Nevada(domestic & foreign) is required to file an Initial List by the last day of the month following the formation date of their entity in Nevada.
So, if a corporation were formed on March 1st, the Initial List would be due on April 30th of that year. Each year after words, an Annual List would be due on the last day of the anniversary month.
The Initial List fee is now $150 (as of July 1st, 2015).In addition, almost every corporation and LLC is required to apply for a Nevada Business License. The license fee is $500 for an INC and $200 for LLC and it must accompany the Initial List. So your total Initial List fee is $650 for an INC or $350 for an LLC.
If the total fee is not submitted, or if the Initial List fee is
received (not post-marked) after the due date, the corporation or LLC will be in “Default” status and a penalty of $175 will be due IN ADDITION to the Initial List and Business License fee for a total of $825 (INC) or $525 (LLC).
The Initial List must be signed by an officer of the corporation (or member/manager if an LLC) and can be filed by paper form sent to the Nevada Secretary of State or online. All fees with List are payable to the Secretary of State of Nevada. When the fees have been paid and the List form filed, the NV Secretary of State will send a receipt, completed list copy, and business license to the address requested, or the registered age.
