Entrepreneurs have a chance to learn how to run a successful business at a Boot Camp put on at Pima Community College on July 25th from 7 a.m. to 12 noon. For $45 attendees will learn about the legalities associated with start-up businesses, marketing strategy, building a good management team, funding options and ways to work with venture capitalists and other investors.

The Boot Camp is also a preparatory offering for those who have an interest in attending the Arizona Venture Capital Conference (AVCC) put on at The Camelback Inn Resort, Golf Club and Spa in Scottsdale. The December 5-7th conference brings up to 150 of the country's leading investors, bankers and venture capitalists together with emerging companies seeking funding.
