Zoho (Sunnyvale, CA), a private Internet-based hotel goods provider is trying to find a buyer since a planned cash investment didn't materialize and it is running out of cash.

In a Wall Street Journal story, Chris Hjelm, Zolo's President said, unless it finds a buyer by the end of May, it will stop processing orders. It is already down to 25 employees, from a high of 200.

Zolo's problems centered on Starwood hotel?s planned $30 million investment and promise to buy its supplies from Zolo. Zolo, built its business around this one big customer. Unfortunately, the investment and the purchases never materialized.

Zolo has sent letters to about 30 potential buyers in the hotel & technology industries, such as: Starwood Hotels, PurchasePro.com, and Marriot International.
