Year End Deadlines & Holiday Hours
Turnaround Times usually increase in every state this time of year because of the higher volume of filings. The State Filing Time Estimate (the time it takes the state to process a filing) usually takes longer. Additionally, our time to both submit your filing and complete your order takes longer because of the increased volume of orders we receive this time of year.
To ensure we are able to take care of your incorporation & LLC formation needs this holiday season, we've provided some year end deadlines (when using our EXPEDITED Service), holiday hours and other general holiday information to assist you with your order making decisions. Effective Filing Date
In every state, you will be asked if you wish to have your filing date be effective on or after 01/01/2012. PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to pay additional fees or taxes to your state if your entity is filed effective on or before 12/31/2011. We recommend that you research your options in the "Research Now" area located right on our www.smallbiz.com Home page, BEFORE you submit your order. Although we may be "Expediting" your filing, please note that it may take some additional time to ship your materials as we normally operate from a backlog of orders to be completed during this time.
Shipping Info
Additionally, because of expected US Postal Service delays during the holiday season, we recommend you choose FedEx 2nd Day or Next Day Air to speed up shipping and minimize delays.
All Corporate & LLC Kits, Company Seals, Stock & Membership Certificates, Corporate Forms on CD are made to order offsite by our supplier and shipped via FedEx Ground ( click here for shipping time estimates) unless you pay for FedEx 2nd Day or Next Day Shipping. We generally request production of your kit, seal, and/or certificate materials the same day we receive your approved documents from your state. These materials are then typically produced one to two days later before being shipped.
