Annual Reports

Nonprofits:

Act 569, which became effective July 31, 2007, requires Nonprofit Corporations to file an annual report with the SOS. There is no fee to file this report.

  The Annual Report is due by August 1st.

 

 Franchise Tax Returns

Taxes:

Franchise tax rates for stock corporations are 0.3% of the outstanding capital stock, with a $150 minimum. Corporations without stock pay a $300 franchise tax.

 

Income Tax rates range from 1% to 6.5% with a minimum tax of $50 and a maximum tax of $1,075,000.

Due Dates:

 

Corporation Franchise Tax Annual Report is due by May 1st.
